Before booking your first appointment, take a few minutes to review this page. It covers what to expect, how sessions are priced, and how to check your insurance coverage so there are no surprises.
What the process looks like
1. Review fees and insurance
Read the sections below so you know what to expect financially before your first call. We recommend checking your out-of-network benefits before scheduling.
2. Fill out the form below
Tell us your location preference, whether you’d like in-person or telehealth, and the best way to reach you. We’ll take it from there.
3. We’ll reach out within 24–48 hours
Someone from our office will call to schedule your intake appointment, set up your patient portal, and send you intake paperwork to complete beforehand.
4. Your intake appointment
Your therapist will have reviewed your paperwork before you arrive. The intake is a conversation; a chance for us to understand what you’re experiencing and what you’re hoping to achieve. It’s not a test.
Sometimes the intake takes two or more sessions. If so, the additional session(s) is billed at the standard 60-minute rate.
5. Build your treatment plan together
After the intake, you and your therapist will decide on frequency, format (in-person or telehealth), goals, and approach — together. Nothing is decided without you.
Session Rates
Looking for a lower-cost option? We offer sessions with supervised counseling associates at $90/hour — a significantly reduced rate, with the added benefit of senior psychologist oversight. Ask us about availability .
Payment is due at the time of service by check, cash, debit, or major credit card. FSA and HSA accounts are accepted. A card on file is required before treatment begins.
We are an out-of-network provider
We do not bill insurance directly and do not participate in any insurance networks, including Medicare or Medicaid. However, many insurance plans offer out-of-network mental health benefits — and some may grant an In-Network Exception (INE), which reimburses you at in-network rates.
After each session, we provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurer. This is a detailed receipt with everything your insurer needs to process your claim.
