Wasabi is a 3-year-old Miniature Poodle who loves people, especially children. His favorite activities include playing fetch, learning new tricks, and spending time with anyone willing to engage with him. Friendly, playful, and highly people-oriented, Wasabi has a special talent for helping others feel welcomed and connected.

Wasabi’s own journey has taught him about resilience. Around one year of age, he developed anxiety and became overwhelmed by certain situations and changes in his environment. Through patience, training, and gradual exposure to new experiences, he gained confidence and learned how to navigate challenges more comfortably.

Today, Wasabi enjoys helping individuals who are nervous around dogs build positive experiences at their own pace. He is also known for his comforting presence and often chooses to sit quietly beside—or on the lap of—someone who is feeling distressed.

Wasabi reminds us that courage is not the absence of anxiety. It is taking small steps forward, accepting support, and discovering that growth is possible even when things feel overwhelming.
