Fenrir "Fenn"
Canine Staff Member

Fenn is a 2-year-old Belgian Tervuren who serves as our canine therapy partner and resident adventure enthusiast. Before finding his forever home, Fenn experienced multiple transitions while being evaluated for service dog work. His journey included living with several different families, giving him a story that reflects resilience, adaptability, and perseverance through uncertainty.

Today, Fenn uses those experiences to help children and families feel welcomed and understood. Whether he is supporting clients who are nervous around dogs, helping children feel more comfortable in therapy, or simply providing a calm presence during difficult conversations, Fenn has a gift for making people feel at ease.

Fenn’s approach to life is simple: meet challenges with curiosity, lean on trusted relationships, and never underestimate the power of play, humor, or a good cuddle. He is known for his grit, affectionate nature, and ability to bounce back from setbacks with enthusiasm. He loves outdoor adventures, training, exploring every interesting smell on a walk, and then transforming into a champion snuggler at the end of the day.

Through his story, Fenn reminds us that courage is not the absence of fear or uncertainty. It is continuing to move forward, staying connected to those who support us, and remaining open to growth—even when life’s path takes unexpected turns.
